Established in 1995, the University of Colorado – Boulder Equestrian Team (CUET) offers co-ed opportunities, both English (hunter seat equitation on the flat and over fences) and Western (western horsemanship and reining), for anyone who thinks they might be interested in taking up the sport. Whether you have years of experience in the saddle or have never touched a horse before, we welcome you into our family! Horses are an incredible way to build confidence, as well as teach about responsibility and build character in a positive environment. CUET prides itself on creating an environment where everyone feels supported, including members in fundraisers, team socials, and horse shows. CUET is a member of Interscholastic Horse Show Association, or IHSA. To be eligible to compete you must be a full-time undergraduate student at CU Boulder and pay the fees and dues associated with being a member. We also accept members who may not be ready to compete or even lesson, in this case dues are not required.
